Yose ben Joezer

Yose ben Joezer
(fl. 2nd cent)
   Palestinian rabbi and nasi. He and Yose ben Johanan of Jerusalem were the first of the scholars known as the 'zugof. A disciple of Antigonus of Sokho, he served as nasi (head of the Sanhedrin).
